So here goes...

Fishing has always played a massive part in my life, from a very young age and growing up on my grandparents' farm with a river just a stones throw away. Watercraft became second nature and it all just started from there. That then lead the way into sea angling and so much more. So starting my own business based around something that I'm so truly passionate about and making all my own fishing gear from scratch is a truly amazing feeling.

Business has gone from strength to strength recently, and that has had a lot to do with the people that use my products and support me. It's like having a big extended fishing family and that in itself is a massive accomplishment. Seeing people use and enjoy my products all around the world gives me the inspiration to always be trying something new no matter how big or small.

So that's me and my business in a nutshell.

I've been fishing from as young as I can remember. From a very young age my dad used to take us fishing, one of the fondest memories I can remember was fishing at Torquay with a float and hooking into a double figure bass and it falling off halfway up the wall. So, yes I have been fishing all of my life and I just love the adventure of it all and the people who I have met and become friends with on the way.
My passion in fishing is Congering and estuary fishing for things like bass and Flounder. I started working with Craig doing all the admin stuff about year ago and in such a short time the company has gone strength to strength. It has been a privilege working with Craig and I am excited about the future!

I started fishing at the ripe old age of 11. My dad decided to arm me with a Paul Kerry 12footer and we ventured down to Budleigh Salterton to get some casting done. 31 years later and it is now a massive part of my life. It started as a hobby but is now a way of life..
Two and a half years ago I decided to vlog my adventures and I have met so many people since then who have the same passion for the sport.
The change to species hunting has got me hooked (no pun intended) and the amount of research I now do before a session has helped me evolve massively within my angling skills.
The icing on the cake was when Craig (The Boss) offered me the chance to become a sponsored angler for C Weights.. after using them for close to two years and having massive success with them, the offer was a no brainer. The team are amazing and are more of a family than a work based relationship.
From testing to customisation, everything is taken on board by them and looked at in depth.. so a massive thank you to all at C Weights and here’s to the future of this amazing team.

Born and raised in Kent, I got my first taste of fishing as a young lad after stumbling across my grandfather’s gear that was left behind after he passed. My dad, also a keen angler at the time, showed me the ropes and the rest was history. The fishing for the majority of my youth was very much leisurely, however the last 5 years or so my love and passion for the sport has simply grown stronger and stronger. I put a lot of focus on sustainability, C&R, fish care and helping others.
I have been lucky to fish some amazing parts of the world having lived in both Gibraltar and Cyprus, I currently reside in Plymouth, Devon and those that have fished this neck of the woods will know just how stunning a place it is and the variety of venues it has to offer on its doorstep, not only that Chesil beach and the Bristol channel are only a short drive away so I really am spoilt for choice with venues and species to target.
I feel privileged to be a part of the C Weights team as I truly believe in everything they stand for having witnessed the passion, dedication and shear effort that goes into developing every product. A big part of fishing is confidence and when you are confident not only in yourself but the gear you are using your session becomes a whole lot better.
Craig is a fantastic guy and can never do enough for you even when some of the ideas I have thrown his way have been rather barmy, but ultimately he always manages to deliver the product that you envisioned down to a T.
